The CS Undergraduate Student Board is recruiting!

The USB is the link between undergraduate students, faculty, and the corporate partners. Our purpose is to address problems of the department, network students and companies, and make the undergraduate voice heard throughout the CS community. We sponsor events such as the Corporate Partners Mixer and the Feedback Forum, in addition to addressing issues students are having within the department.

We have openings on our board for a limited number of highly motivated and enthusiastic freshmen.

Tools of the Trade Presentation

February 16th, 7:03 PM in LWSN 151

Many of the tools we use day to day in cs are not difficult to learn but may be able to do much more than you know. Come join us and learn something new!

This is highly recommended for Freshmen.

Chris Mayfield - Development/Debugging in Eclipse
Casey Drummer - Vim
Emily Raymond - very basic commands (cd, cp, mkdir etc...) and make
Gregor Richards - gdb
